Jammies Environmental Inc. Environmental Services Tech - Entry Level in Burbank, Washington
Entry Level Technician performs a variety of tasks associated with industrial cleaning, railroad and agricultural operations. This role will use a variety of equipment, both power and hand tools, including but not limited to pressure washers, vacuum extractors, pumps and blast guns. This equipment will be used in extremely varied environments, including heights and confined spaces, indoors and outside in various climates. Extensive operational and safety training is required. This position is considered full-time and is a 24/7 on call position that often requires long hours and travel.
Qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to comply with DOT Drug-Free Workplace
- Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned
- Understands verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to use a respirator (and be clean-shaven when respirator is required)
- Able to travel out of town during the week (hotel and daily per diem provided)
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Industry related experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or railroad setting an asset
