Job Summary:

The Product Scheduler Coordinator will effectively control the releasing, assignment, and prioritizing of all production, rework, rejected hardware, Kanban material and consignment inventory as necessary to meet customer deliveries.

Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for meeting OEM Return schedules and turnaround times, providing promise to ship dates based on process knowledge, and to inform upper management of any problems that would affect customer deliveries.

  • Perform all necessary scheduling of OEM Returns, and assist planner in scheduling production, and rework orders, referring to their supervisor for guidance and direction when usual problems occur.

  • Based on knowledge of work centers capacity, load machines and areas; recommend personnel movement to accommodate schedules.

  • Request overtime requirements to supervision and management as to overtime needed to make scheduled stock dates.

  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality personnel to set priorities for OEM Return & production parts in process as well as rejected parts.

  • Create and maintain any specific matrices or reports used for the purpose of meeting customer schedule and/or tracking hardware.

  • Request work order releases prior to release dates to help level load the department.

  • Coordinate with other production coordinators, schedulers, and dispatchers on jobs arriving or leaving their area to meet production schedules.

  • Work closely Supervisors, Planners, and buyers to identify and escalate jobs that are not returning from outside processing or internal inspection within expected lead time.

  • Coordinate with Sr. Factory Personnel including Planners and Buyers regarding valves and transducer products.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: High school diploma required; BS degree with a concentration in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in production control using Oracle or equivalent MRP system.

  • Three (3) + years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Access).

  • Must have the ability to read and understand production process data and routing instructions. • Should be familiar with the assembly process.

  • Strong communication, organizational and oral presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heel straps, and shop coats.

Salary range: $31.37 to $51.78 Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
