Position Summary:
The University at Buffalo invites applicants that possess leadership and strategy development for its NCAA Division I Men’s Wrestling team. The incumbent will direct and oversee all aspects of the Division I Men’s Wrestling program. The incumbent will identify, recruit, retain and develop student-athletes with the goal of winning regular season and Mid-American Conference Championships.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all phases of a successful Division I Men’s Wrestling program.
Coordinate the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Oversee the planning and execution of practices, fundraising, and community and alumni relations for the wrestling program.
Responsible for the oversight of the wrestling program’s budget.
Provide leadership and instruction to the Assistant Coaches and the student-athletes.
Oversee the academic progress of student-athletes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Three to five years of successful wrestling coaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably Division I level. Prior head coaching experience is a plus.
Must possess highly developed interpersonal, administrative and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred.
