This is an in-person, on-site role in the WNY area.
Responsibilities: * Analyze common area maintenance charges (CAM) and accurately apply them to tenants' accounts receivable. * Review invoices, credit memos, and cash applications for errors and reasonableness. * Prepare and review spreadsheets containing billing information, especially historical data such as water utility bills. * Analyze and apply recurring billing items such as rent and escrows, ensuring accuracy in each billing generated. * Review lease information to ensure proper billing of tenants, addressing any concerns or discrepancies. * Contact tenants regarding outstanding sales reports and verify the accuracy of reported figures. * Code all sales letters for entry and make revisions as necessary. * Prepare reports and make revisions with updates regarding tenants for audited/revised figures of payment. * Respond to requests from account representatives for information regarding CAM charges, reviewing invoices and leases to provide accurate responses. * Apply appropriate consumer price index to tenant charges when required. * Ensure accuracy in the information provided and address any concerns.
Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or payable analysis, with a strong understanding of general ledger coding. * Experience in high-volume billing is preferred. * Excellent math and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet preparation, including formulas, and Microsoft Word.
Education * Accounting degree is preferred.
