Your Role and Responsibilities

IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. Focus on Take-out projects, replacing competitor softwares to IBM Automation solutions.

The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed products, services, management of the change process, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance.

IT Specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment. The employee guides functional objectives or technologies.

• Environment: Professional knowledge related to incumbent's function/business unit and its processes.

• Communication/Negotiation: Advise other professionals. Effectively use group dynamics. Negotiate to define approaches and goals.

• Problem Solving: Recognize complex problems related to functional objectives. Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes. Creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.

• Contribution/Leadership: Provides ongoing technical / operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international). Understand department/ functional mission and vision. Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function.

• Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable for department results and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional teams. Regularly participates in overall functional program planning. Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Kubernetes;

Openshift;

Problem Solving and Analysis, Troubleshooting and Best Practices implementation;

Critical and analytical thinking;

Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.

Desirable:

Cloud Platform (IBM, others);

Datapower;

App Connect Enterprise;

MQ;

API connect development & administration.

Operating System: Linux, Windows, AIX

Installation and configuration of products and/or tools

Concepts of: Monitoring and Reporting,

Communications, Security, Architecture, Cloud solutions, Programming languages

Availability to eventually work after hours in planning activities (7x24)
