Citigroup Technical Payroll Senior Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The Technical Payroll Senior Analyst is a strategic professional who has a strong Digital tools background and experience partnering with external partners including Technology teams, HR Operations, Tax and HR Compensation and Benefits. The Technical Payroll Senior Analyst provides advice and counsel related to payroll operations, accounting and tax. This role has direct impact on global payroll services, which eventually impacts the overall effectiveness of payroll end to end operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage global process taxonomy and/or Transformation initiatives working with Payroll Managers and Cluster Leads
End to end development for one of the tools Tableau, BoardwalkTech, Xceptor, Robotic process of Automation and Knime digital tools.
Work closely with technology teams for implementing the digital solutions.
Advise payroll managers regarding payroll process transformation for assigned payroll clusters/countries
Support the global initiative to automation global payroll controls and migrate to the Process Control Tool (PCT)
Assess and monitor reasonableness of key performance indicators and identifies strategic improvement opportunities
Manage and/or deliver on assigned projects and Global Process Transformation team deliverables
Provide training sessions on global payroll processes to payroll staff and managers
Serve as owner or GPS Leadership representative on project/meeting calls
Partner with Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting and Payroll Tax, to identify digital automation opportunities and required business specifications
Drive results for global strategic priorities to ensure delivery of end results
Shared responsibility for identifying automation and standardization opportunities to drive productivity saves and reduce risk
Ensure Global Payroll SOP and corresponding Process Control Manuals are followed for assigned cluster/countries
Ideal background:
2-4 years of experience in Tableau, BoardwalkTech, Xceptor, Robotic process of Automation and Knime digital tools
Experience in Global Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting and/or Employment Tax is an advantage
Bachelor’s/University degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to provide evaluative judgment based on analysis
Strong Leadership skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
