The Senior Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a consultant and partner to leadership teams in driving the strategy, culture, and core values of WSFS through people practices and programs. The incumbent will be a driver of talent, culture, and manager effectiveness. The HRBP is responsible for designing, leading, and executing the enterprise-wide people strategy, learning and development, talent acquisition, retention, engagement, and organizational development strategies. The HRBP will have a strong connection to and leverage the Centers of Excellence (COE).

The Senior HRBP will have a deep understanding of the market trends, ecosystems of the financial services industry, and emerging multi-industry themes such as digital, regulatory, and technology to successfully drive business goals and objectives. The incumbent will be an HR subject matter expert that designs and implements customer-centric data-driven people strategies to support key business drivers that solve for pain points in Associate engagement, managing careers and organizational development. The incumbent will champion our HR practice of Strategy and Service delivery to our organization using high EQ to drive business-centric Associate insights to facilitate actionable internal mobility as well as innovative development techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Build trusted partnerships with the business through consultative and collaborative efforts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Contribute to short and long-term business priorities by designing, developing, and executing people initiatives and strategies.
  • Drive and advocate for the talent and culture agenda and processes including succession planning, leadership development, and learning, while nurturing a culture of Diversity Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Act as a change leader by creating, understanding, and executing change management efforts through business, cultural, and organizational shifts.
  • Lead and influence using workforce data and predictive analytics for improved decision-making that supports respective business metrics objectives.
  • Utilize talent and total reward programs to enhance the business line's ability to attract, inspire, and retain our workforce.
  • Champion our culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that the appropriate talent structure, engagement model, performance management, and recognition systems are applied to support strategic objectives.
  • Implement effective workforce planning techniques by analyzing forecasting and planning workforce needs and determining appropriate talent management intercessions.
  • Assess and manage risk while considering the objectives and goals of the business.
  • Drive simplicity in everything we do.
  • Address difficult issues and confront problems head-on; take decisive and well-rounded action in high-pressure situations, challenge ineffective processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including HR experience, business partner or generalist experience with data, analysis, trends, and reports; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Pre ious human resources experience in Retail or Retail Banking is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, adhere to the HR standards of confidentiality, have the ability to multi-task, be able to work successfully in an ambiguous environment with frequently changing priorities, and have the ability to track and manage up-to-date information
  • Must have excellent computer skills including MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability and presentation skills both in person and virtually.
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day a week remote.
