BBG -Personnel Services IT Support Tech (Brownwood) in BROWNWOOD, Texas
IT SUPPORT TECH (Brownwood) Monday - Friday, Mandatory on-call as assigned by manager 8:00am- 5:00pm $18.50 Per Hour
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure functionality of the computer system for all system users.
- Install selected software and hardware products.
- Repair hardware as necessary and work closely with service vendors and users to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Provide desktop and network support
- Assist in website development and support.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to users as needed.
- Recommend changes in software and hardware to improve systems for end users.
- Remote desktop and telephone support.
- Ability to follow written and /or verbal instructions
- Other duties as requested by management
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in computer science, electrical engineering or 2 or more years of experience in IT support
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years of IT support experience
- Knowledge: Relevant software certifications preferred but not required
- Interpersonal Skills: Must have effective communication skills and demonstrate ability to handle multiple and/or changing priorities
- Must be able to stand, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a Clear driving record
