Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician whose responsibilities will include 80% mechanical troubleshooting, conducting 2-3 repairs per night, and performing preventative maintenance. The tasks will involve working with equipment/components such as motors, chains, sprockets, sensors, and switches. You will be required to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, lift trucks, powered equipment, dock plates, truck restraints, and overhead doors. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairs and modifications or preventative maintenance to facility electrical and lighting systems, HVAC system including office and warehouse units. You may occasionally need to perform building and grounds maintenance tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Work Environment

The position requires you to work from Monday to Friday, 4pm -12:30am (2nd Shift). You will initially train on the first shift during the week, Monday to Thursday for 4-5 months depending on experience (6:00am - 4:30pm). The facility is a well-ventilated 800,000 sq. ft distribution center heated in the winter. You will often work independently due to the size of the facility. The dress code is relaxed, with jeans, plain t-shirts, and regular tennis shoes being acceptable. Ear plugs or safety glasses are not required.
