The pay range is $69,000.00 - $124,200.00

As an Accounting Manager on the Fixed Assets team , you will be involved with many aspects of managing Target’s Fixed Asset Accounting. This may include: overseeing and managing the write off process related to new capital spend (including remodels), working closely with Target’s Real Estate team to account for property acquisition and sales and managing Target’s quarterly impairment measurement process. You will have important month/quarter/year-end responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. This role is a key partner for Capital Finance, Construction and Properties partners and has great visibility to some of Target’s most exciting strategic initiatives. You will work on special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You will develop strong relationships inside and outside of Property Accounting in order to influence partners and provide client support to teams across the company. You will drive innovation, improve complex processes, and maintain a strong internal control environment. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:

• Four-year degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and 3-6 years of related experience

• Strong accountant with knowledge of GAAP (specific property accounting knowledge desired)

• Data analysis and modeling experience with tools like Excel to identify trends

• Excellent communication, problem solving, organization and analytical skills

• Strong business partner, able to collaborate with teams across the organization

• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of initiative

• Desired requirement: Experience with SAP and related reporting tools (BeX, BW)

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
