RiseBoro Homecare Inc. Program Associate - Temporary in BROOKLYN, New York
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision of the Director of Programming, the Program Associate for Senior Services is responsible for providing overall administrative and office support that will ensure successful and organized programs. The Program Associate will work directly supporting senior center operations and programming at the older adult centers. Specific responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support to all programs and staff of the Seniors division administrative team
Assist with the planning, implementation, and development of programming activities, fundraising activities, events, and other internal/external partner meetings.
Coordinate with RiseBoro’s marketing teams and or community affairs as needed, on outreach materials, photographs, videos, and overall marketing materials
Support programs with audit and monthly unit and summary preparation as needed
Troubleshoot and implement innovative solutions to administrative issues as they arise
Provide program coverage and or assist in planning as needed during staff shortages and or site emergencies
Develop, implement, and maintain reporting tools such as spreadsheets, graphs, and dashboards necessary to carry out job functions
Implement internal and external recruitment strategies to engage inactive senior center participants and engage new ones
Attend program management meetings, when required
Assist with the coordination of special projects as assigned
Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Programming

Ability to understand the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresentedcommunities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Associate’s Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a related field
Any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills may be considered qualifying.
