Compensation:

Administrative Associate: $64,925- $82,065 (Represented by TWU; New Hire: $56,456)

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the employee will be required to perform a broad range of clerical tasks.

  • Responsible for incoming telephone calls regarding general inquiries and request for claim forms.

  • Control and correlate reports and subsequent updates of various legal documents prior to data entry functions.

  • Prepare and update appropriate claims files and forward to investigations or examination and practice units.

  • Perform data entry functions pertaining to claims and legal documents.

  • Responsible for processing large volumes of various invoices which entail reviewing invoices to ensure accordance with the retainer agreement, securing proper authorization and updating information in the computer including all functions necessary to maintain current flow.

Education and Experience

Administrative Associate

  • An associate degree from an accredited college or completion of two years of study (60 credits) at an accredited college and four (4) years of satisfactory responsible full-time paid clerical experience, at least two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or

  • High school graduation or evidence of having passed an examination for a high school equivalency diploma or U.S. Armed Forces GED certificate with a score of at least 35 on each of the five tests and an overall score of at least 225 in the examination for the diploma or certificate and six (6) years of satisfactory responsible full-time paid clerical experience, at least two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or

  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience. However, all candidates must possess the two (2) years supervisory clerical or administrative experience as described above.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of all Microsoft packages. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Keyboard

familiarity with the ability to type at minimum of 100 keystrokes (20 words) per minute.

Selection Method:

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
