An exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Specialist to be an integral member of our highly successful Cardiac Rhythm Management team in Brisbane. This is a 13 month maternity leave contract and an excellent role for an individual with strong clinical experience in cardiac pacing devices who will enjoy exploring his/her first role in medical device sales.

A Day in the Life

Our Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management portfolio has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Specialist to be based in Brisbane, Queensland . Reporting to the Service Innovation Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit

  • Providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations to customers

  • Conducting on-site education and / or consulting

  • Assisting Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support

  • Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team

  • Participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness

  • Working closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support

  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.

  • Identifying and facilitating execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.

  • Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand in locations.

  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team

Must-Have:

  • High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years relevant experience OR Associate Diploma with minimum of 4 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience either in a clinical setting with cardiac pacing devices or cardiac sales.

  • Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver’s licence required
