The Opportunity

  • Support and manage financial operations related to CBRE trust accounts. The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Financial control – ensuring trust accounts are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, liaising with external auditors, overseeing property transitions, reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, and preparing bank fee recoveries etc

  • Review property trust account balance on a weekly basis, prepare monthly management fee reconciliations and wages recoveries reconciliations

  • Property Financial Reporting – performing all necessary reporting for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow analysis and income statements for properties under management

  • Preparation of prepayments schedule where requested by clients

*Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful; *

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

  • CPA/CA Qualified or studying towards it

  • Previous experience within property accounting or trust accounting is highly advantageous but not a must

  • High level attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong time management and organisational skills to be able to thrive in a busy environment

  • Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
