In this role, you will:

  • Review credentialing processes and systems/tools to support all of our credentialing activities
  • Review options for leveraging the MQAS solution for credentialing.
  • Review the status of operation issues and develop strategies to meet productivity, quality, and goals and objectives of the team
  • Partner with the Leidos Capture teams to develop a successful story to win the MQAS DHA contract.
  • Lead the assessment of current processes to ensure practitioner information and applications are properly verified and documented
  • Be responsible for understanding daily operational workflow, to include communication with internal and external business partners, resolution of issues, and identify workflow concerns
  • Ensure the use of best practice workflows and operational excellence are utilized and continuously seek improvement opportunities
  • Work in collaboration with internal departments to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to credentialed practitioners
  • Ensure compliance with delegated credentialing policy and procedure
  • Analyze and report departmental metrics and trends to leadership
  • Have strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
  • Demonstrate the ability to advise and interact with all levels of management
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to successfully negotiate
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of credentialing
  • Possess and demonstrate skills necessary to analyze information, problems, procedures and situations
  • Have strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

You must have:

  • A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college w/ 10 years of relevant experience (Additional experience maybe considered in lieu of degree
  • Senior healthcare experience in credentialing
  • An ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.

Pay Range: $128,500 - $150,000 w/ up to 9% bonus eligibility
