kite Sales Team Lead in Brampton, Ontario

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all required training within specified timelines to ensure product knowledge is up-to-date and relevant for the

customer. Be punctual. Arrive for your shift no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to ensure that you have time

to set-up, change and be ready on time.

  • Follow on-site protocol for checking in, reporting, set-up and take down.

  • Achieve all goals and objectives as outlined by your supervisor including sales, revenue and client experience

  • Actively reach out to customers within their location and drive traffic to the brand/product – must be comfortable

intercepting consumer traffic within the location.

  • Continue to build the growth of the brand by communicating the information set out in the SDI Training Manual or

received through SDI during course of program.

  • Direct any challenges or concerns to the Program Supervisor. Work well with and have respect for your Supervisor, other team members, and consumers.

  • Follow policies around operations, accessibility, theft and fraud, health and safety, etc. outlined within the policies &

procedures manual.

  • Follow operational guidelines to ensure location is meeting all compliance standards.

  • Train, coach and mentor direct reports as directed by the Program Supervisor. Motivate direct reports to achieve targets set forth by Program Supervisor.

  • Establish individual and team goals set forth by Program Supervisor.

  • Ensure timely, reliable, and effective communication with the Program Supervisor with regards to on-site and

Program updates

  • Inventory tracking – As directed by Program Supervisor, which may include but not limited to: track inventory at

the beginning and end of shifts, flag items for replenishment, and replenish low inventory items while on-site.

  • Inventory transportation - Ensure that inventory is transported to appropriate storage area after shifts,

transported on-site at the beginning of every shift.

  • Assign breaks for direct reports as required by the schedule.

  • Assign schedules for direct reports if directed by the Program Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven clear understanding of sales, customer service, and/or promotions fundamentals.

  • 1-2 years of Team Lead and/or management experience, preferably within the retail and/or marketing industry and previous sales experience in a commission environment an asset.

  • Previous credit card sales experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • Must have reliable transportation and have a valid G Class Driver’s License.

  • Professional, fun, energetic and have great communication skills - verbal and written.

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Organized and quick thinking with the ability to problem solve.

  • The ability to demonstrate leadership to a team and motivate team members while leading by example

  • The ability to absorb, understand and communicate brand and product information effectively to consumers.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Motivated to provide exceptional leadership and customer service and work in a dynamic and fast paced

environment.

  • Willing to learn and interested in continuous training and development.

  • Open, available, and flexible to work a variety of shifts/hours (evenings and weekends based on business

needs).

  • Be willing to work at various retail locations if required.

  • Must be comfortable working independently, in a team environment and in both and indoor and outdoor environment.

  • Pass a criminal record check as a requirement of employment.

  • Pass a driver’s abstract check as a requirement of employment.
