ONYX Insight Senior Accountant in Boulder, Colorado

The Role

Strong growth in our US market means we are investing in our Finance team in our Boulder, CO office. You will bring experience of working in a small-medium sized enterprise (SME), and competence with core accounting transactions such as A/P, A/R, Payroll, CF, credit control and financial statement preparation. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality will be important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing day to day accounting transactions (A/P, A/R, Payroll, CF, credit control and financial statement preparation).

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

• Preparing financial statements

• Analyzing changes in financial position/budget variance analyses

• Assisting with internal and external audit

• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

• Raising US invoicing and reconciliation of the US AR Ledger.

• Reconciling sales orders in our CRM system to invoicing

• Ensuring sales orders are invoiced on a timely basis.

• Raising purchase orders and matching/posting purchase invoices for payment

• Ensure inter-company transactions are balanced monthly

• Complete transfer pricing adjustments

• Completion of the monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provision of accurate and timely Debtors Reports

• Completing and management of weekly cash flows

• Posting and reconciliation of payroll

Ideally you'll have/be able to:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or working towards

• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Competent user of MS Office, accounting/ERP software.

• Some experience with CRM systems a plus

• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
