We are accepting applications for two Professional Research Assistant positions supporting all research aspects of the Root lab. Who We Are
We are a research lab in the Psychology and Neuroscience Department within The University of Colorado. Our goal is to identify the specific cell-types, pathways, and molecules that control rewarding and aversive experiences.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Responsibilities include managing mouse colony, stereotaxic injection, behavioral experimentation, imaging, managing students and experiments, analysis, ordering and inventorying, ensuring compliance, and general lab management.
What You Should Know
Hiring two positions, both are full time, 40 hours per week.
What We Can Offer
Annual salary of $42,000 to $44,000 depending on skills and experience. The University of Colorado provides excellent benefit options.

What We Require
Bachelors degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related scientific field.
What You Will Need
It is expected that the candidate is highly motivated and will extensively collaborate with other lab members. Must have excellent organizational, oral, and written scientific communication skills.
