The Cybersecurity Incident Response team is responsible for cyber security investigations and remediation efforts across the enterprise. This requires work in cyber security areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T. Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

About the job:

  • Leading escalated incidents to detect, analyze, respond to, report on, and prevent cybersecurity incidents.

  • Accountable for driving new detection rules into the sensors and establishing new rules based on active threats and suspicious behaviors.

  • First responder to investigate escalated security events from the SOC.

  • Manage all tasks related to an escalated cases as Incident Response analyst.

  • Perform triage of threats based on required skills listed below.

  • Drive remediation efforts for all cybersecurity incidents escalated to the team.

  • Assist in the development of incident response processes for the company.

  • Document and communicate findings and after-action reports in a manner that leadership requires.

  • Mentor SOC analysts on incidents seen in environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics. Computer Science or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Requires on site presence (3-5 days a week) at one of the listed locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • Knowledge of core OSs .e.g., Windows, OSX and *nix operating

  • Knowledge of host and network analysis. .e.g., EDR technologies, log analysis

  • Knowledge of cloud and container analysis.

  • Knowledge in SPLUNK for analysis.

Our Senior Cybersecurity earn between $116,700 - $196,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
