Insight Global is sourcing for an Business Analyst to join an Executive Agency for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As the Business Analyst you will lead technical and complex projects towards Energy and Environmental studies. You will work closely with the Project Manager's and technical leads to support both the application, infrastructure and networking functions of complex software development projects. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable in a technical and interactive setting. You will be working with Business Stakeholders to determine business needs in relation to application modifications or new builds. In this role, you will work with developers to explain business needs, partner with project managers to communicate overall stakeholder needs. Someone who is analytical, a problem solver and embodies a team environment will be successful in this role. Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years in professional experience as a Business Analyst

   - 4+ years utilizing Jira for documentation

   - Experience working in a Waterfall and/or Agile environment

   - Prior professional experience creating process flows in Visio (or similar tools to Visio)

   - Can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

   - Strong written and verbal communication skills

   - Ability to prepare user stories, process flows, BDRs, FRDs, Wireframes and data mapping documents

   - Obtains prior experience with JIRA, SharePoint or MS Office Suite - Experience with Power BI

   - Hands on experience with Smartsheet

   - Certified Business Analyst or Certified Scrum Master

   - Background in Environment, energy or government industries null
