Aerotek HVAC Tech in Boise, Idaho

HVAC Technician

$33-$35/hour | Full-time | Boise, ID

Property management company based out of Salt Lake City with a growing presence in the Treasure Valley is seeking for a HVAC tech, great opportunity to grow with the company and progress career.

One of our clients in Boise is looking to hire an HVAC tech. Seeking for a candidate who have great soft skills to interact with clients and a experience of facilities maintenance including HVAC (LG systems preferably), plumbing, basic electrical, painting, patching, and other general maintenance. Need to have experience working with various hand and power tools and all tools will be provided. Previous experience working on HVAC systems in an office building/high rise setting would be preferred or any facility with larger HVAC systems.

Must have a clean driving record as they will be commuting between Gardner's various clients in the Treasure Valley but mostly in downtown Boise. The company has properties at Nampa so on occasion will have to go there. Would also be provided a company vehicle to get around from site to site.

On call schedule rotates every 5 to 6 weeks where techs will be responsible for after hour or weekend emergencies. According to the manager, most weeks the person on call is not contacted but whoever is on call will have to handle these calls.

Must have a clean driving record.

Shifts

  • 7:00am-4:00pm | Monday-Friday

  • On call one week out of every six weeks

Qualifications

  • Experience HVAC troubleshooting

  • Facilities maintenance experience

  • Strong experience in electrical (changing lights, minor wiring, etc.)

  • Experience in basic plumbing

  • Ability to paint and patch when needed

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to be on call one out of every six weeks

Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug and bac kground check and must have a clean driving record.
