This role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will be essential in driving world-class supply chain resiliency and cost management!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships

  • Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts

  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs and support site audits

  • Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategies

  • Implement cost savings and process improvement programs

  • Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

  • Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions

  • Implement processes to monitor performance with key suppliers

  • Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations

  • Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting

Cost Management & Analysis

  • Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers

  • Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets

  • Provide market intelligence and category price trends

  • Apply should-cost models for assigned categories

  • Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.

  • Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation

  • Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements

  • Develop sourcing strategy and drive sourcing events for construction and design, including request for quotations (RFQ) or request for proposals (RFP), negotiations with bidders and bid awards with Decision Analysis (“DA”).

Business Partnering

  • Cross functional collaboration

  • Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories

  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

Cost Management Activities for Construction Projects

  • Cost validation and bid leveling

  • Contract Terms and Contract Administration

  • Buyout and Change Order Management

  • Reporting

  • Contractor prequalification

  • Assure suppliers deliver on time

  • Keeping up with market trends and analyze market trends

  • Claim Resolution

Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. As required, monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure the best quality at the best value. May recommend cost saving proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.

You are:

  • Experienced in a category management and construction procurement, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech industry

  • Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Procurement, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Preconstruction Services, Budgeting and /or Cost control.

  • Proficient in written, verbal communication and presentation skills!

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree or equivalent in construction management, Supply Chain or similar relevant field.
