As a Business Planning Manager in the Strategic Business Planning group within CNBU, you will be playing a meaningful role in managing the processes that develops and delivers Week 9, Quarterly Business plans, Board of Directors (BoD) Business plan, Earnings, BoD and other groundbreaking initiatives.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to drive meaningful business plan alignment in the largest business unit in Micron and a cross functional opportunity to work amongst the functional teams and other business units!

You can play a key role in developing and implementing business intelligence and analytics roadmap, operational reporting, business process development and re-engineering, and process documentation that encompasses people, processes, tools, and data. You will also lead long-term agreement (LTA) reporting, helping to drive how the near-term demand forecast and allocation being shaped impacting on BU business plan. You will also be requested to deliver ad-hoc projects related to BU business plan decisions or processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Facilitate and deliver CNBU cross functional business plans across various executive forums (CBO, CEO, BoD)

  • Manage a CNBU cross functional Core Team for delivering cohesive and accurate monthly deliverables.

  • Aggregate business plan content across the CNBU market segments, Portfolio Management, Operations, Pricing

  • Develop consistent communications tools and protocols

Key Performance Indicator development, management, and reporting

  • Drive CNBU business critical metric monitoring execution progress and performance accountability

  • Analyze CNBU’s quarterly business metrics volatilities with cross functional groups

  • Collaborate and report on long term agreement strategies and statues with marketing

  • Perform new product revenue risk analysis on NPI products

Play a key role in developing and implementing business narratives

  • Provide market insights to successfully communicate the executive story (market trend update)

  • Deliver highlights and mitigation plans given the current market environment and product portfolio and support/facilitate any ad-hoc review meeting to enable the decision

  • Key understanding of DRAM products and customer base and Micron’s competitive standing

  • Dynamic interactions with various cross functional groups to get the high-level business views

Education & Experience Vital for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or economics

  • A master’s degree in business administration is a plus

  • 5+ years’ experience either in business operations, finance, sales, or supply chain

  • Business planning and Strategic Planning experience required

  • Dedicated and motivated individual with ability to communicate the executive narrative accurately and concisely

  • Proven track record to collaborate and influence across multiple organizations

  • Sophisticated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint applications

  • Detail oriented and excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Knowledge of Micron products and technologies, manufacturing, demand, and supply processes, CNBU market segments and customers

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$113,000.00 - $246,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
