A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the design and development of cloud-based data pipelines using technologies like Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, Coalesce, DBT, Airflow, Oracle and Python.

  • Champion best practices for data architecture, governance, and security.

  • Define and implement data quality standards and processes.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in cloud data technologies and trends.

  • Mentor and guide junior data architects and engineers.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering or related field.

  • At least 5 years of proven work experience as a Data Architect.

  • Fluent in English level.

  • You love to work with data! and transform raw data to actionable insights for the business.

  • You have proven experience in data modeling and data architecture design, with a strong focus on cloud-based platforms.

  • You have proven experience implementing data warehousing solutions (cloud preferred)

  • You are extremely comfortable with SQL language and with designing ETL and ELT data pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior-level data architects and data engineers.

  • Experience with large enterprise systems & solutions.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)

  • You like to experiment with new technologies and share your knowledge with others in inspiring presentations.

  • You are proactive and keep a constant communication with the team members and the business partners.

  • You have no trouble in translating a business requirement into a technical data architecture design.

  • Working in an Agile team makes you happy.

  • You have experience with CI/CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git

  • You have Experience with Test Automation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Kafka, Hadoop and Spark.

  • Experience in Informatica Cloud or Informatica Power Center.

  • Experience in DBT or Coalesce.
