Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Operations Assistants– Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Answer patron’s questions by phone and in person.

  • Maintain a clean and safe fitness environment.

  • Educate and enforce policies and procedures.

  • Ensure safe and intended use of fitness equipment.

  • Report and communicate facility equipment issues and patron concerns.

  • Maintain controlled facility access.

  • Maintain equipment for checkout, group fitness enrollment, and towel services.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a degree-seeking FAU undergraduate student taking a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA required.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

$12.00 per hour.
