Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Boca Raton, Florida

Description

Robert Half is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a local company's finance team. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule: alternating between remote work and onsite attendance in their Boca Raton, FL office. It's a unique opportunity to enter a growing company and leave your mark by enhancing our financial operations. This opportunity is contract with the potential for permanent hire!

Responsibilities:

  1. Process, verify, and reconcile invoices in a timely manner.

  2. Maintain detailed and organized account payable files.

  3. Review and verify expense reports.

  4. Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

  5. Prepare and perform check runs.

  6. Update and maintain vendor information.

  7. Produce monthly financial and management reports.

  8. Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

  9. Liaise with other departments as necessary for financial operations.

    Requirements

  10. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  11. Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.

  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software.

  13. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  14. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  15. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
