Robert Half Payroll & Benefits Administrator in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description

Our south metro client is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their reputable and established company! In this exciting opportunity, you will handle a variety of duties, including manual payroll processing, making timesheet adjustments, managing 401k contributions, completing payroll and tax reporting, benefits administration, answering benefits questions, and handling LOA’s.

An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in payroll, including manual payroll processing. Benefits administration experience is highly preferred, but not required. Advanced Excel experience including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas are a requirement for this role.

This position is hybrid, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days/week after training. The first 90-days of training are fully in-office.

Requirements - CPP or FPC preferable

  • Proficient in garnishments, processing liens, and various withholdings

  • Familiarity with HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets

    • 3+ years of payroll experience

    • Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel

    • Payroll tax experience highly desired

    • Strong familiarity with Multistate Payroll

    • Manual payroll experience

    • Full Cycle Payroll experience desired

    • Proven knowledge of Process Bi-weekly Payroll

    • Well-founded grasp of benefits administration

    • Practical knowledge of ERISA employee benefits

    • General familiarity with benefits coordination

    • Quality experience with 401k - RRSP Administration

    • Wide ranging experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration

    • Expertise in Multi-state Payroll
