Job Description:

At Regions, the eDiscovery Project Administrator acts as the primary contact for enterprise-wide eDiscovery requests and is the liaison between internal counsel, paralegals, outside counsel, and eDiscovery vendors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages continuous eDiscovery case life cycle which includes intake of matters, issuances of litigation holds, facilitation of the preservation/collection, and document review

  • Partners with Regions Legal team, both internal and external counsel, to recommend eDiscovery strategies and provide updates of case status and escalation of issues

  • Manages relationships between Regions discovery vendors including leading status calls, monitoring vendor utilization, requesting project quotes, and analyzing metrics generated by vendors

  • Creates and maintains all project documentation including data processing requirements, project workflows, production specifications, and search protocols

  • Acts as a liaison between the legal team, Information Technology, vendors, and records management

  • Owns one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables

  • May supervise day-to-day work of more junior level associates

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Five (5) years of legal related experience

Preferences

  • Juris Doctorate

  • Relativity Certification

  • In-house Legal experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent time management and documentation skills

  • In-depth knowledge and prior experience of the E-Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)

  • Works with the Subpoena Department, E-Discovery, and others to ensure prompt and accurate response efforts related to non-routine subpoenas.

  • Works closely with requesting entities (regulatory agencies, law enforcement agencies, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate subpoena response

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$87,206.80 USD

Median:

$115,180.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
