Description

SAIC is seeking a recognized expert and authoritative resource to provide deep expertise recommending future direction for mission systems, mentoring less experienced staff, and nurturing opportunities to drive growth for the intelligence community market. The candidate will leverage their expertise to conduct research, provide recommendations, and predict future trends to achieve mission objectives across the National Counterintelligence and Security Center’s technology programs.
The ideal candidate is passionate, resilient, and a strong communicator who welcomes debate; has critical-thinking skills; and the ability to think objectively. This position is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Duties will include:
Defining future direction to include establishing the sequencing of major activities and recommending the allocation of resources, as well as overseeing management controls to achieve mission objectives for the customer
Advising, guiding, and influencing less experienced customer staff toward maturation of their core competencies and career aspirations
Identify, nurture, and acquire opportunities to pioneer intellectual property for the intelligence community market space
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required
Bachelors’ degree and 20 years of experience working across Defense, Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community
Experience designing, developing, and delivering tactical solutions for strategic-level challenges
Experience leading large-scale, transformational efforts and public speaking
Experience leading business development efforts for portfolios of IT capabilities
Ability to work in a dynamic mission environment which requires balancing competing priorities and schedules
Desired Qualifications:
- Former member of the Senior Executive Service corps with the Federal Government
