Eaton Corporation Internship: Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Framework - Bethel, CT in Bethel, Connecticut

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Framework Intern.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.39 - $24.23.

What you’ll do:

Position Name : Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Framework Program

Position Overview:

Eaton Bethel is seeking summer interns for participation in its Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Framework Program. In addition, the internship involves hands-on activities within its Welding Department for assistance in the production of aerospace pressure sensors. Progress of assigned projects and tasks will be tracked throughout and the intern will have the opportunity to present accomplishments at the end of the summer.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications :

• Ongoing education efforts at an accredited university seeking either a technical or business degree.

• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future

• Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of business experience completed at the time of this application

• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Bethel, CT.

• This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with welding

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and Kaizen Events

• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community
