Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker with expertise in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, and CNC tooling used in aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical skills, advanced knowledge of machining processes, and a passion for precision engineering. Responsibilities:

  • Design and fabricate jigs, fixtures, and CNC tooling to support the machining and assembly of aerospace components.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop innovative solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.

  • Conduct quality inspections of tooling components to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications.

  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify tooling designs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders as needed.

  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel on the proper use and maintenance of tooling equipment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in tool and die making or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in the design and fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and CNC tooling.

  • Knowledge of machining processes, including experience with CNC machining centers.

  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tooling design and modification.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with aerospace-specific materials and processes.

  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Availability for on-call duty and occasional overtime as needed.

salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
