Staffmark Investment LLC Tool and Die Maintenance Supervisor in Berea, Kentucky


Are you a natural-born leader with
expertise in auto parts manufacturing and metal stamping? Staffmark is seeking new talent in Berea, KY, and hiring an experienced Tool and Die Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing client. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Salary: $65,000-$75,000

1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Essential Functions:

  • Proper training and supervision of all current and new employees.
  • Updating and monitoring training logs.
  • Processing, scheduling, and tracking over time.
  • Work in conjunction with Quality and Engineering on continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all employees and departments.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
  • Reports on any process and equipment problems.
  • Communicates with the Press Department and Production Control to ensure proper schedules are followed and production needs are met.
  • In-Press Troubleshooting/Evaluation.
  • Countermeasure solutions concerning die/tooling/fixture for quality-related and operational issues.
  • Maintaining of die maintenance spare parts (Value & Stock).
  • Die Improvements (documentation of progress, i.e. before and after pictures, performance-related results.
  • Supplying CAD, and 3D Data to Vendors for spare parts for dies.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating various machines (e.g., radial arm drill press, lathe, CNC mills) and die maintenance equipment.
  • Strong understanding of die mechanics, tool steels, and production processes.
  • Experience in employee training, scheduling, and performance monitoring (1-3 years).
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Experience in documentation and CAD support for spare parts is a plus.
  • Capable of heavier lifting of up to 80 pounds.
