Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented “HYCare Leader Manufacturing” based out of our Berea Kentucky facility.

This position will facilitate and guide Manufacturing operations in partnership with other departments through the HYCare journey: Awareness, Action, and Maturity. This will be accomplished by collaborating with Manufacturing sites and leadership teams to ensure that HYG delivers on its commitment to our customers. Through effective change management, it will drive the HYCare culture within Manufacturing sites by executing on our strategy of developing people, systems, and processes. This position will be the ‘Voice of the Customer” and responsible for ensuring a positive experience both internally and externally.

What you will do:

• Facilitate the development of actions and processes that help mature and imbed the HYCare culture.

• Ensure HYCare principles are incorporated in daily business activities.

• Define and execute on project plan for each phase of HYCare : Awareness, Action, Maturity

• Voice of the Customer (extremely customer focused)

• Remove obstacles to ensure seamless execution.

• Coordinate activities with multiple manufacturing sites to exceed customer expectations.

• Effectively measure manufacturing activities processes relative to solving customer problems.

• HYCare Process site champion – building a robust and sustainable process.

• Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive Communication and Change management strategy internally and externally with other HYG functional areas.

What you will need:

• B.S. in Business Administration / Management, Engineering

• Project management, communications, manufacturing processes

• 5 + years’ work experience - one assignment in the manufacturing function, or equivalent - Technical manufacturing systems knowledge.

Skills, Experience & Abilities:

• Strategic development and planning skills

• Ability to provide leadership in the development of teams that will engage employees and empower them to drive continuous improvement

• Exposure and knowledge of financial principles and controls
