What you’ll achieve

As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You Will

• Contributes to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments. Prepares, reviews and analyzes software/storage specifications for products and systems

• Contributes to the development, review, analysis and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

• Contributes to the development, test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams

• Provides the review, analysis and closed loop corrective action for issues contributing to software/storage defects and business process problems

Essential Requirements:

Expert knowledge of automation framework development. End to end system knowledge is preferred with expertise in Python and capability to learn new tech and bring it into our framework, working with OS automation team.

Working experience in Windows OS internals, good exposure in BIOS, Kernel development in Window OS is preferred.

Balanced experience in development with HW and Window OS related work and tools will help in automation OS engineering workflows.

C++ and C# - Programming knowledge, with expert Python/Automation knowledge. Good knowledge of Windows platform components is desirable.

Familiarity with Windows OS development environment, Driver system architecture on Intel and AMD chips and Device Driver/Software programming experience will be helpful.

Desirable Requirements:

7+ years of industry experience on data related programming with a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a master’s degree

Good analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills. Skillful understanding of hardware and Driver’s interactions.
