Software Principal Engineer

The position is for Engineer working on next-generation enterprise infrastructure solutions for AI/ML workloads. The engineer will be responsible for leading a team of 3 to 4 engineers, involving in defining the product behavior and working on the design specifications. You will work with subject matter experts in automating the workflow for building the finest infrastructure capable of hosting a variety of AI/ML workloads for our customers.

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineer

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality and complex infrastructure management software stack.

• Prepare, review, and evaluate product requirements.

• Writing code as per high level design and quality norms

• Capable of working as a technical lead (leading a team of 23 Engineers)

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 8- 12 years of related experience

• Strong Programming and debugging skills in Python / Ansible yaml scripting.

• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Good understanding on Cluster computing and various Server / Storage and Networking management and communication protocols.

• Proficient with Linux Operating systems / Linux Scripting .

Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity with Opensource development model.

• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (like TensorFlow, PyTorch etc), LLM frameworks and platforms (like Hugging Face).
