About the Job:

As a Salesforce Marketing Architect with the ACC Salesforce team, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team that is embarking on a multi-year implementation as part of an on-going digital modernization effort.

As the project team ramps up, you will have the chance to help define and shape the vision of how the solution will be maintained and monitored to meet the business’ needs.

Experience Level: 10–18 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the architectural design of Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications.

Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development.

Collaborate with developers, understand their needs, and guide them in building efficient solutions.

Identify opportunities for application automation techniques to support multiple business units.

Drive and develop numerous project deliverables, including functional and non-functional specifications.

Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document technical requirements.

Influence and Assist in the maintenance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS.

Collaborate with the marketing team to automate and optimize marketing processes.

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track campaign effectiveness and sales performance.

Provide technical expertise and best practice guidance on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and integrations.

Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster continuous improvement of code quality.

Qualifications – External:

Primary / Mandatory skills:

Overall – 10 to 28 years’ experience with minimum 3+ years of experience in architecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud based solutions with a strong understanding of Salesforce way of developing applications.

Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: A deep understanding of the SFMC platform is crucial. This includes knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, and other SFMC tools.

Technical Expertise: A strong technical background in software development languages and frameworks, including AMPScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.

Architecture Design: Ability to design robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business needs and adhere to architectural best practices.

Implementation experience of Enterprise design pattern.

Solid Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.

Understanding of Salesforce Clouds: Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce offerings is beneficial.

Integration Knowledge: Experience in integrating SFMC with other systems using APIs or other methods.

Data Management: Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data segmentation within SFMC.

Certification: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification or other relevant Salesforce certifications are usually expected.

Project Management: Ability to manage projects, coordinate with other teams, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Building Salesforce applications for Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud.

Visual Studio Code, Authorize Dev Hub, Creating Scratch Orgs.

Comfortability with a variety of development tooling, including Force.com IDE, Illuminated Cloud, Ant migration tool, and others.

Experience working in modern cloud ecosystems, such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

Experience in practicing agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments.

Understanding in SQL, NoSQL databases – MySql, Oracle, MongoDB.
