What you’ll achieve

The Apps & Data Transformation Consulting Team at DELL Technologies is uniquely positioned to help customers in their transformation journey to make them relevant for the next decade. This niche team of consultants work across the globe work with the Dell EMC global fortune 500 customers in -

• Defining their transformation road map

• As part of DTS Consulting’s Global Apps & Data team, we help customers realize their potential and embark on Apps, Data, Platform and Cloud Transformation journeys by providing roadmaps, technical and financial analysis and execute the strategy through real-time innovative and patented approaches.

You will:

• You will work directly with Practice Leadership, Sales, Pre-Sales and Customers in an advisory role, providing competency based solutioning and help towards deal-closures, in addition to leading teams of consultants towards delivering some of the best-in-class consulting solutions.

• You will be advising, designing, and implementing cloud visions, strategies and road maps and architectures, to create agile, software defined and state-of-the-art solutions.

• Provide broad, scalable alternatives designed to move clients constantly forward on their Cloud journey, engage in the creation of work output such as long-term objectives and initiatives.

• Build high performing teams who will in turn support customers in their IT Transformation journey.

• You will be partnering with the Practice Lead in recruiting, training, and developing top talent for world-class delivery, as well as drive organization-wide initiatives to promote customer success, innovation, and technical excellence and oversee project delivery and manage customer escalations.

Essential Requirements

• 13+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders (up to and including CxO).

• 6+ years of experience of guiding large Software Development Teams of Engineers, Architects and Programmers (directly or indirectly) for delivery of mid-sized to large engagements.

• Working experience of DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE and App-Mod tools stack - Git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jira, Scripting with Python, Java, C# etc.

• Good experience of delivering Cloud-based Solutions for technology lines like Automations, IaC, IaaS, PaaS, Big Data, Analytics, AI, AIOps, MLOps, GenAI etc. which included private/public-clouds setups - on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VCF, RH OpenStack, RH OpenShift etc.

• Excellent spoken & written communication capabilities, and hands-on experience of working with MS Office Biz Apps Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project etc.)

Desirable Requirements

• Practical experience with modern cloud-based operations including experience leading teams of Site Reliability Engineers

• Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms

• Experience with modern development and testing techniques such as continuous delivery and continuous integration

• Experience of Agile Methodologies and knowledge of SAFe, Scaled Agile, Scrum, as well as traditional SDLC.
