Amazon Sustainability Program Manager, Innovation, Technology and Business Operations in Bellevue, Washington

We are looking for someone excited by sustainability and eager to develop and drive "under the roof" products that help Amazon execute on our path to zero carbon emissions across our operations, particularly within Amazon Global Air. The candidate must be able to manage multiple products across different technologies, be willing to expand the sustainability portfolio, engage with stakeholder groups and create the business case for opportunities to across Amazon Global Air Operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track-record of developing and delivering innovative sustainability products. The right candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically about the business, operations, and technical challenges.

Key job responsibilities

  • Defining a product vision for sustainability "under the roof" projects and lead the portfolio implementation

  • Driving alignment with critical stakeholders and leadership around the product vision

  • Working directly with business intelligence to build exceptional products

  • Influencing supply chain partners to align with vision and execution

  • Leading engagement and strategy across stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, across business, product, program, business intelligence, and operations teams to solve complex business challenges

  • Engaging with external sustainability companies, local governments and partners to support the Amazon AIR vision surrounding sustainability

  • Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical and/or operational constraints

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience

  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience

  • 10+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
