Description

Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Property Accountant. This Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.

Your responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

• Arrange monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages

• Sustain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation

• Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease

• Analyze financial data and summarize in a clear, useful manner

• Create complex account reconciliations and journal entries

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.

Requirements - Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular

• Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with industry specific accounting software

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

• Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
