What You’ll Do

KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking business, science, engineering and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2024 Intern class.

A project will be developed by the intern which will provide a key initiative to effective improvement within the Government Property Management Organization. Interns will be provided with mentors to assist with developing ideas and provide execution guidance through completion. The final project will be outlined and shared with KBR leadership. Choosing to learn the field of Government property has advantages. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain experience in various areas relating to Government property management.

As a National Security Solutions Intern, you will:

  • Support various projects and programs to gain understanding of the concept of cradle to grave property management, beginning with working with key teams to review purchase documents for authorizations and accuracy, performing receipt of property, assisting with records data entry processing, performing physical inventory, formulating issue and shipment documentation, assisting with property disposition processes, and assisting with KBR’s final property contract closeout system.

  • Additional opportunity to gain knowledge on electronic recordkeeping techniques, working with Sharepoint and other administrative functions.

    Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.

    Anticipated Skill Set:

  • Supply chain major, or related discipline

    Scheduled Weekly Hours: Average 40 hours per week.

Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
