Description

The Senior Data Analyst will develop data solutions, analyze business trends, and ensure data quality under the VP of Finance. Tasks include leveraging advanced analytics, implementing Open Source technologies, constructing data solutions for self-service, and exploring new technologies.

Responsibilities also involve partnering with business for consultancy, developing tools and metrics, and delivering written and verbal insights to support business decisions. The role includes improving processes via data-based forecasts and strategic plans, and enforcing data quality principles, managing security mechanisms, and reporting on data quality.

Requirements

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and financial reporting experience in FP& A, preferably in the insurance sector. 3+ years of coding experience in Python, R, Spark, or SQL, and business intelligence visualization tool utilization. Familiarity with ERPs such as Oracle Netsuite or SAP, advanced skills in Excel, and the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment are required.
