This position is located at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina. Will serve as a Collateral Security Representative for VMFAT-501. The selected candidate will be required to interact daily with all members of an Active Duty USMC Jet Squadron, senior ranking USMC officers through junior enlisted personnel and key GOV stakeholders, with confidence, poise and professionalism. Candidate should be comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a fast-paced military flying operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial. The selected candidate will primarily work out of an active duty Military hangar with very little direct supervision due to location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Defense Information System for Security (DISS) / Information and Personnel Security Program (IPSP) administration to include:

- Perform Investigation initiation and termination actions when required.

- Perform daily notification management actions for assigned personnel when required.

- Input Personal Conduct deviation information when received.

- Process visit requests for collateral clearances for assigned personnel.

- Generate / Review monthly reports for assigned personnel.

- Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration to include:

- Perform daily administration actions on investigations for assigned personnel.

- Process and approve various Information System Account Requests by verifying security clearance criteria is met by submitter.

- Provide Security Awareness briefings to onboarding Military / Civilian and Contractor personnel.

- Provide Foreign Travel briefings to assigned personnel.

- Providing assistance to other security team members, as appropriate

- Performing other Security Generalist duties in support of VMFAT-501 and the F-35 Pilot Training Center as required

On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift, a non-standard work schedule, and at any of the local F-35 Facilities in order to support mission requirements. This may differ from the primary shift/schedule/work location being hired for.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.

2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.

3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).

4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.

5. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.

6. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.

7. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.

8. Familiar with DISS, IPSP, and E-QIP.

9. Works well independently and in group settings.

Desired Skills:

1. Knowledge of Collateral Security requirements.

2. Experience working on Special Access Programs.

3. Prior experience generating and maintaining Security files

4. Prior experience with Security related forms and procedures.

5. Experience working in a military environment.

6. Ability to multi-task and remain organized; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products

7. Excellent Presentation Skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
