Eaton Corporation Senior Manager, Global Corporate Reporting & Analysis in Beachwood, Ohio

Eaton’s corporate finance team is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Corporate Reporting & Analysis to join the team as finance partner to our global IT organization. This position will be based at our corporate offices in Beachwood, OH. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the Beachwood location as relocation assistance is not available.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager of Reporting and Analysis, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end process and timeline for forecasting, reporting, and analyzing the IT global corporate function, providing accurate and timely information and analysis to be used for management decision-making and providing ad hoc support for Senior Management as requested. The role will also lead efforts to drive efficiency and value to the organization through standardization. This individual will serve as a finance business partner to Corporate executives regarding strategic initiatives and will work heavily in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Drive standardization and optimization in Corporate FP&A reporting across global corporate functions.

• Build strong partnership with executive leaders in order to support and provide financial guidance regarding strategic initiatives within their functions.

• Develop models and reporting to help analyze actuals, forecast, and profit plans in order to identify potential areas of risk and opportunities to senior management to drive business results and achieve financial goals.

• Lead enhancements efforts within global corporate financial planning application to drive insightful analysis and transform Corporate forecasting and planning processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build analytical models (i.e. headcount and personnel costs) to improve forecast and profit plan accuracy

• Partner with global budget owners to identify areas of opportunity to deliver on management actions and meet financial targets

• Responsible for aggregating large amounts of data into a comprehensive story for forecasting and profit planning reviews with the CEO and CFO.

• Partner with the operations to communicate and align on global corporate functional allocations.

• Actively lead business partnering with Sector Finance SVPs to understand their organizational strategies and align development of annual profit plan and monthly forecasting.

• Responsible for managing and building organizational capabilities, including manager of people

Qualifications:

Required (basic) qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance

• Experience managing a team

• Must have experience as a finance partner focused on managing a P&L/budget

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA from an accredited institution preferred

• CPA preferred

• Experience in a world class finance organization within a multinational organization

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills, capable of project ownership and management on a global scale

• Highly developed strategic/analytical thinker

• Ability to express the complex in simple, easy-to-grasp ways, verbally and in writing

• Is curious, inquisitive, and comfortable challenging the status quo

• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP

• Strong drive for results

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Detailed knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle and SAP

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
