BayCare Health System Director Academic Research Services in BayCare Sys Office West, United States

Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Leads technical research and project level support services for institution-initiated research activities in support of clinical and academic programs throughout BayCare Health System.

  • Train & equip team members and medical staff with the resources required to develop, conduct, analyze and publish findings associated with those projects.

  • Conduct regular quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to research protocols, operational policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines in order to ensure participant protections and the integrity of all clinical research data.

  • Supports project budget development to aid programs in determining institutional support of projects.

  • Works collaboratively with other Sponsored Programs and Research leaders to ensure sufficient clarity, capacity, and resources for successful project conduct.

  • Identifies opportunities for developmental growth and expansion of institutional research portfolio.

Required Education:

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health or Life Sciences or related field

Required Experience:

  • 5 years experience in Health Research within a healthcare setting

  • 5 years experience in a leadership role or terminal degree

  • 3 years experience in Health Research within a healthcare setting

  • 3 years experience in a leadership role.

Preferred Education and Certification:

  • Doctoral, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and Certified in Public Health (CPH).

Location: BayCare System Office West

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
