Job Description:

SK Siltron CSS has an exciting opportunity for a SQL Developer/Analyst for our Bay City, MI location.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support in developing, implementing, integrating, and presenting reports to support data analysts.
  • Develop and manage Enterprise Data Warehouse following strategic direction on best practices for holistic Data Architecture.
  • Design, develop, and implement MS SQL Server SSIS ETL jobs to effectively process high-volume data sources and meet nightly processing windows.
  • Support database design, development, architecture, and implementation.
  • Validate, analyze, and debug code to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.
  • Create stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex queries.
  • Build data structures, functions and views for source data integration, data management, and consumption by other systems.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports.
  • Work with users to define, implement and automate data warehouse requirements.
  • Ability to interpret business logic and develop appropriate dataflows and data dependencies.
  • Design databases to ensure stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Learn new applicable programming techniques as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience writing reports against Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • 5+ years of recent experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in a developer, programmer/analyst role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of writing T-SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
  • Knowledge of query optimization, indexes, and performance tuning techniques in MS SQL Server.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting multiple projects and activities.
  • Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  • Experience with PowerShell and Python is a plus.
  • Experience with developing responsive websites using Microsoft .NET technology, jQuery and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
