Job Description

We are looking for an SAP Application Program Manager for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity that is hybrid in Baton Rouge, LA . The Application Program Manager will be responsible for defining program goals and objectives and aligning them with the organization's strategy while architecting functional solutions for SAP integrations.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect functional solutions for SAP integrations

  • Develop understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to make informed decisions and drive results

  • Define program goals and objectives, and align them with the organization's strategy

  • Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget

  • Manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed

  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met

  • Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards

  • Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for program management processes/practices

  • Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes

  • Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide application support for agency’s workload demands

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 10+ years of project management experience

  • 10+ years of SAP Integrations experience

  • 10+ years of SAP Public Sector Financials experience

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels

Desired:

  • SAP Grants Management (GM) experience

  • SAP Funds Management (FM) experience

  • SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) experience

  • SAP SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) experience

  • SAP Budget and Planning (SBP) experience

  • SAP Materials Management (MM) experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
