Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Adjunct Faculty - Instrumentation is located in the Division of Technical Education. This is a part-time position, and is open for recruitment.

COMPENSATION:

1 Credit Course = $833.33

DATES/TIMES - Day, night and weekend classes; various times available

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associate’s degree or a minimum of five (5) years of recent related work experience in Instrumentation and NCCER Instrumentation certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education teaching experience

Job Concepts

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
