ManpowerGroup Accounting Coordinator in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Accounts Payable professional needed with some AR experience with a manufacturing or distribution background. Permanent role offering salary of: 18-22/hr DOE, M-F schedule, excellent benefits, matching 401k, etc.

Requirements:

  • Prior Accounting (AP &/or AR) Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven admin or assistant experience

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Ability to handle multiple email accounts

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • General math skills

Job Description:

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Generating invoices and account statements

  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records

  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

  • Creating new Customers in system

  • Processing all Customer Credit applications

  • Accounts Payable

  • Match purchase orders to invoices and enter invoices into system

  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.

  • Creating new Vendor profiles in system

Performance Measures:

  • Accounts Payable

  • Days to Close out Month

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Invoicing completed Daily

  • Days sales Outstanding

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor invoices

  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

  • Work with other departments to reconcile vendor invoices.
