Our Basingstoke office led by Paul is home to a host of talented people ranging from our early career professionals to established engineers and project managers working across the region to improve the local and strategic road networks.

Working in partnership with National Highways and Local Authority clients across the region you could find yourself immersed in a diverse range of projects including active travel, digital design (including 3D modelling), strategic network improvements, major and minor maintenance, alignment, road safety as well as public realm.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of designs and specifications in accordance with Design Manual Roads Bridges (DMRB)

• Development of designs using, Open Roads Civil3D and AutoCAD

• Accountability for checking, certifying and authorising for issue designs, documents, approvals, and reports

• Management of graduate engineers and technicians to deliver work packages with scope to move up to managing smaller schemes

• Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projects

• Production of technical reports as required

• Technical input to the pricing of project briefs, proposals and deliverables with Project Managers

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• Highways design experience in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB)

• A passion for design and developing innovative solutions.
