As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and mentorship to the engineering team. Your role involves managing engineering projects, guiding technical teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

What will you do?

  • Provide transformational leadership to the engineering team, setting strategic goals and objectives.

  • Develop and communicate a clear technical vision aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, encouraging a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.

  • Be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.

  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other customers to align technical solutions with business goals.

  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork between engineering and other departments.

  • Work with HR and project managers to identify staffing needs and recruit top engineering talent.

  • Manage prioritisation to meet project requirements.

Minimum Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / master’s in computer science.

  • 15+ years of relevant proven experience. At least 5+ years in managing team and customers.

  • Medical device and/or Invitro Diagnostic Device Product development according to ISO 13485 experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for software development (e.g., FDA, ISO standards).

  • Familiarity with Chemical Analysis software products is highly desirable..
